Did I ruin my non-stick stainless steel cookware?
I bought a rachael ray stainless steel non-stick cookware set (the ones with the orange handles) and made some hash browns with them. Afterwards, I noticed that the pan was brown so I tried to wash it and it wont come off. I’m not sure if it’s burnt oil or not because someone told me that it is actually the nonstick coating that got burned and now my cookware is ruined. True or not?
oh, and I am aware that Rachael Ray cookware isnt really all that great with its 18/0 rating, but I wasn’t really interested in spending the big bucks for the good stuff as a novice… plus, I found the orange handles cute.
Boil it up for a while with some bicarbonate of soda and water.
